A Journey Shaped by Experience
I’ve been a registered nurse for over 31 years, and my path into nursing was anything but typical. From a frightened 15-year-old sleeping beneath the I-45 bridge to an ICU nurse with three decades of experience, the journey has been unforgettable. Along the way, I’ve witnessed miracles, endured difficult moments, and faced experiences that tested both my strength and my faith. Every step reinforced one truth: nurses need spaces where they feel seen, heard, and supported.

Nurses Corner was created as a place where nurses can safely share stories, thoughts, frustrations, and even humor while respecting privacy, professionalism, and one another.
